Northern Powergrid Community Energy Forum: Coming together in a climate emergency

25 Mar 2022

12:30pm - 04:30pm

In Person

Overview

This forum is for all local and community energy stakeholders in Northern Powergrid’s region, from experienced community energy practitioners to new climate action groups, and anyone who wants to take practical steps to tackle the climate emergency locally.

At our first in-person forum since the pandemic, you will have plenty of chance to network with other community energy organisations and hear inspiring examples of work leading community energy groups are doing. You will get the chance to ask local energy experts about their projects, discuss topics that interest you in interactive workshops (covering topics such as transport, engagement, community energy business models, and fuel poverty advice), and talk to Northern Powergrid’s team in person.

In order to keep us all safe, you’ll have to have a negative lateral flow or PCR test 24 hours before the event, and the venue will have the QR code on display if you wish to check in using the NHS Covid app.
