Community Energy Forum – Local energy: Paving the way to net zero

16 Sep 2021

02:00pm - 04:00pm

Virtual

Overview

This online forum is for community energy practitioners, climate action groups and local energy stakeholders in Northern Powergrid’s region.

At our latest community energy forum, we’ll focus on local energy business models which can help tackle our climate emergency. Northern Powergrid will update us on their next business plan, how they are supporting community decarbonisation and some options available to connect to their network.

You’ll get the chance to talk to Northern Powergrid’s team, and local energy experts about their projects, and discuss projects that interest you in virtual breakout rooms. These will cover community microgrids (community owned networks for sharing locally generated energy), local supply, community EV charging and policy and regulation.
